Each puzzle involves three categories with three items in each category. Puzzles and clues involving order are not included in this Level.

About the Books:
Each Level in our series contains 30 puzzles: five puzzle types with six puzzles of each type. Each of the puzzles within a puzzle type will involve different situations and different clues. But the logic principles needed to solve each puzzle within a type will be the same. Each Level also contains a Tutorials section which includes a tutorial for the first puzzle in each puzzle type. The purpose of each tutorial is to walk the child (and parent) through the solution process for that particular puzzle. This is where parental involvement can be particularly helpful. If the child truly grasps the explanations in the tutorial, then he or shee will be able to attack the remaining puzzles of the same type.
The "More Grids for Kids" supplement books contain strictly puzzles--no tutorials. Each supplement provides an extra 30 puzzles corresponding to the appropriate level. So whether they need more practice before advancing to the next level, or else if they just want to solve more puzzles, these books provide the opportunity.

Grids for Kids: Level 2
In Level 2, we first introduce clues involving order. For example, if we are trying to match up three runners with the correct jersey colors and place finishes, one clue might be "Jake finished before the runner with the red jersey." As in Level 1, each puzzle in this level involves three categories with three items in each category.
